(12:54:00) Cobra: hello sir

(12:54:20) mad rabbit: hello sir good morning

(12:54:27) mad rabbit: how are the things with you

(12:54:31) Cobra: going on

(12:55:12) Cobra: how is things at your end

(12:55:44) mad rabbit: Things are fine.. But planning is required, which needs lot of inputs :D

(12:56:07) Cobra: planning and inputs on what

(12:56:54) mad rabbit: I need to plan the design and architecture of our infrastructure .. and it requires lot of inputs from various peoples and fields

(13:00:36) Cobra: cool sir, can we be of any help to in this context

(13:00:51) mad rabbit: sure sir....

(13:00:53) mad rabbit: :)

(13:00:59) Cobra: ajit was telling me about this when i met him yesterday

(13:02:20) Cobra: ok thats nice to know, u guys have AD and exchnage in place

(13:02:34) mad rabbit: no not yet

(13:02:51) mad rabbit: as of now.... we were not in need of it :)

(13:03:08) Cobra: you mean to say AD ????

(13:03:20) mad rabbit: may be we will not get exchange .... but for the new project we need AD

(13:03:40) Cobra: ok thats needed

(13:04:43) mad rabbit: configuring AD is not really a big deal... but getting all those licenses and deciding on the server configurations is really tough

(13:07:20) Cobra: yes that is true

(13:08:12) Cobra: about server configuration you can get in touch with

(13:08:26) Cobra: they are good

(13:09:03) Cobra: even in price wise or else direct get in touch with IBM or HP tell your requirements they will suggest good one

(13:10:04) mad rabbit: and especially during this period of time... where we have 64bit architecture, intel/amd/ celron and many people in competition, storage spaces capabilities and requirements are growing like anything, debate on the threshold of computing powers of machine and man interface... battery explosion, greenhouse effect, global warming due to bad powersaving settings and many more

(13:10:39) Cobra: from my knowledge for AD any X series IBM server with Raid 1+0 or raid 5 should be fine

(13:10:52) mad rabbit: yeah, thats point... earlier I had dealt with frontier... will talk to them.. I have taken the UPS from them

(13:11:03) Cobra: great

(13:13:19) Cobra: >:D<

(13:16:59) mad rabbit: x series is x86 architechure right ..?

(13:17:10) mad rabbit: what is p5

(13:18:32) Cobra: yes sir dual xeon processor 2 gb RAM or more with 146 GB in 5 hard disk on board ethernet and 2 extra ethernet would be good for any AD server

(13:19:02) Cobra: or even for redenuncey you can for culster your life will be always smooth

(13:19:20) mad rabbit: and even a mailserver requires approximately same config right ..?
